The LoRa Gateway included is pre-configured to connect with your Nano system and provides the link between the Nano platform and your devices. Depending on the number of devices and area you are covering, you may need more than one gateway.=

Connect to the Gateway

  1. Power the Gateway by plugging in the power cordThe and ensure the lights on the front should flash for a while and then turn solid, indicating successful connection with the Nano platform. flash.

  2. Connect to the Gateway via WiFi. The name should be similar to below.

  3. Once connected, navigate to http://192.168.55.1

  4. Login with:
    user: Admin
    password: Admin

  5. Navigate to Packet Forward → Settings

Connect Gateway to Nano

The Nano acts as the LoRa Server for your local LoRa network. This server is accessible through the admin account and is where you add devices and gateways to your network.

  1. Go to the URL monitor.nano.local:8080

  2. login with:
    user: Admin
    password: Admin

  3. Navigate to Gateways → Create

  4. Enter your gateway’s details
    Gateway ID: Can be found under Gateway Info above, first row.
    Name: choose a name for your gateway

  5. Click Create.

  6. The ‘Last Seen’ row should be updated when the gateway connects.
